Caldwell County WIC Office

Online WIC Education

Our local agency has partnered with other WIC agencies in order to provide qualifying WIC participants with the option of doing nutrition education online in place of coming to the WIC office to meet with a nutritionist face-to-face.  Generally your nutritionist will tell you at your recertification visit if you, or your child, are able to do your nutrition education online.

If you would like to try this option, but don't know if you qualify, you can call our office so that we can help you know what options you have available to you, as not all WIC participants will be able to participate in online nutrition education.

If you do meet requirements that allow you to meet your nutrition education requirements online, you will still need to come to the WIC office for voucher issuance, however, your visit should be much shorter.

In order to use, follow these easy steps:

  1. Click here to begin:
  2. Create an account using your WIC ID, which can be found on your appointment sheet, or on your WIC wallet.  If you have already created an account, login to begin.
  3. Select a lesson from one of the five categories.
  4. Answer the questions and click on the helpful information.
  5. When you are finished you will be asked to complete a short survey.  Click on "Submit" to receive your certificate"
  6. Print or email the certificate by choosing the "Print" and "Email" options.  If you select the email option, the certificate is emailed to our local WIC office to verify that you have completed online nutrition education.  This certificate is required in order to skip your visit with the nutritionist.
  7. You can access previously completed lessons by clicking on the "My Profile" link.
